Stretch

The beginning of 2015 started off rough, to say the least. Dealing with family, and my personal life, I had to take a step back and try to bring my life into some type of normalcy; a pattern that I could familiarize myself with. However, that’s not what life is about.

Life is continually calling you to go beyond your comfort zone. Whether it be a new relationship, project or environment, in order to grow as a person, I believe we sometimes need to take a different approach. 2015 has shown me that the old way doesn’t work. That in order to move forward in life and my career, I will have to look at and handle things differently.

On Tuesday, June 9th, False Brotherhood was brought to the stage as an initial rendering. When I accepted the role of Marcus, I had no idea that it would require so much of me physically and emotionally. The rehearsals where grueling, but they paid off in the end, as the cast received a standing ovation.

In order to grow, we must challenge ourselves to go to places we’ve never gone before, try new things, develop new relationships. That’s the only way we can really accomplish our goals.
